CHEMICAL STRATEGIES, INC. COMPANY UPDATES REGARDING CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

Chemical Strategies, Inc’s corporate headquarters is located in Arizona. Today, Governor Douglas A. Ducey issued Executive Order 2020-18: “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected”.
In response to the Arizona Executive Order 2020-18 & Arizona Executive Order 2020-12:
Chemical Strategies is employed in the storage, supply, and delivery of chemicals and other production consumables used by clients throughout Arizona. The company remains in operation while following social distancing etiquette as exempted under:
- Section 2(b), Section 6, Section 11(a) of the Arizona Executive Order 2020-18
- Section 3(a), Sections 3(c), and Section 3(e)(xxi) of the Arizona Executive Order 2020-12
Chemical Strategies is defined as an “Essential Business” in the above-mentioned orders.
Please be assured that service continuity during the COVID-19 outbreak is a priority. Chemical Strategies is operational and we are prepared to take care of all of our customers deemed essential that are remaining open during this time. We have sufficient staff and inventory to supply our customers.

Chemical Strategies, Inc. is considered an essential business as we are active in the chemical, aerospace, defense, and water treatment industries, as well as supply several businesses in the medical industry that are directly involved with fighting coronavirus COVID-19.
At this time, Chemical Strategies is running at full operations.
As you know, this is a fluid situation, so we’re planning for multiple contingencies including interstate commerce interruptions, trucking shortages, supplier shutdowns, etc.

Please be assured that service continuity during the COVID-19 outbreak is a priority.
Executive management is meeting on a daily basis to monitor changes in personnel, stock levels, customer consumption patterns and government directives. We’ve established plans for spreading our staff geographically, are having a professional disinfection cleaning of our corporate office this evening and have instituted new HR policies regarding best practices for employees and customer/supplier/contractor interactions.
While we greatly value the personal interaction of our staff with our customers, we’ve asked for periodic site meetings to be virtual and for our drivers to limit their interaction at customer/supplier docks to solely that which is necessary.
Our supply lines are currently uninterrupted and we have a good stockpile of material in our warehouses. We’re following all government and CDC directives regarding work practices.
As you know, this is a fluid situation, so we’re planning for multiple contingencies including interstate commerce interruptions, trucking shortages, supplier shutdowns, etc. We will issue updates anytime something substantive occurs.
We ask that suppliers please share with us any anticipated impact to your production levels, stock consumption, receiving times, site closures, etc. We will work together to make this as seamless as possible.

To All Customers, Vendors, and Third-Parties Conducting Business with Chemical Strategies:
As concerns about the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 increase, we’re reaching out with a brief update to make you aware of how Chemical Strategies is taking precautions to reduce the risk of introducing or spreading the virus.
BUSINESS HOURS
Our team is continuing to work normal business hours and operations. We’re carefully monitoring and considering advice from official government and health officials in the communities where our employees live and work, and we will continue to support our customers and normal business operations.
TRAVEL
Chemical Strategies is following guidelines for international travel as published by the US Center for Disease Control and other regulatory bodies in their respective countries. We have enacted travel bans to countries, including transit through countries showing greater impact.
VISITORS
Chemical Strategies is encouraging the use of video/web/phone conferencing in lieu of site visits wherever practical. In instances where site visits are deemed necessary, they must be approved in advance by the General Manager. Further, please be aware that Chemical Strategies is requesting that any visitors to our sites fill out a visitor’s log and disclose information regarding recent travel.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
As an extra precaution, we are asking that all employees and visitors to our sites maintain at least 3 feet distance between yourself and anyone else. Despite the great value we place on our personal interactions with our clients and suppliers, we request our drivers and any approved visitors to limit their interaction and dock time to that which is solely necessary to complete their delivery.
INTERNAL MEASURES
Chemical Strategies is taking extra precautions for our employees to help stop the spread of any sickness. Our facilities are cleaned throughout the day with disinfecting products, hand sanitizer and/or soap and hot water is readily available and use is required, we are practicing social distancing, and sick employees are required to stay home.
