Join us at Chemical Strategies, Inc.! We are seeking an action-oriented hands-on individual to be in a full-time position that is responsible for managing, overseeing and being actively involved in various functions within the chemical warehouse and office.

Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in representing CSI at client production sites, interacting, and coordinating directly with client representatives and client management to effectively maintain and replenish client supply locations. Additionally, the position will be responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties personally. This position will also act as a liaison to assist in monitoring stock levels, resolving inventory and product discrepancies, and expediting critical needs in support of client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Performs daily product location maintenance. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, trays, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code, and expiration date. Ensures proper storage of products.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Marks materials with identifying information. Opens boxes, cans, crates, and other containers.
- Inspects incoming and outgoing material for correct markings, labels, and damage.
- Records amounts of materials or items received and or distributed.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within the Client facility to ensure conformance to client standards.
- Perform required maintenance and processing for shelf-life materials, including proper removal and disposal processes in alignment with customer and product specifications.
- Proactively initiate and/or respond efficiently to daily internal and external customer requirements; including interaction with the contract administration/customer service and customer production floor management to facilitate needs.
- Address on-site quality assurance issues and forward to Program/Site Management and/or Quality Management for resolution.
- Affixes and/or inspects and verifies labels with correct lot #’s, DOM, product#, etc. Uses a computer or other electronic device to enter records.
- Uses forklift or drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant locations or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
- Prepares parcels for mailing, shipping, or delivery.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Determines the method of shipment or delivery.
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
- Insert items into containers.
- Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape.
- Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Inspects incoming and outgoing material for correct markings, labels, and damage.
- Routes items to departments.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Drives golf cart or truck/vehicle to deliver or pick up products to and from warehouse on-site locations.

Required Experience
- 3 to 5 years of warehouse management experience (managing a team with a minimum of 5 direct reports)
- Understands quality control and assurance
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of honesty, integrity, and respect for all employees
- Must be able to pass Security/Background check
- Must have own transportation to work. This is NOT a remote position.
- A valid SLC driver’s license is a must

- $55,000 to $70,000 annually depending on experience and education
